Rant in the kitchen

The predecessor to 2006's radvent calendar, Rant in the kitchen was a competition in which a lucky listener could win a selection of various film-related tat that had accumulated in the Film Review Show office during the year. This included memorabilia from The Family Stone - though sadly not the earplugs, eyemask and crash helmet that Mark recommended be worn whilst watching it.

The competition involved identifying three films from their Kermodian rants - specifically Doom, Palindromes and Revolver.

It was particularly noticeable for forcing Mark to admit that - contrary to his denials - he really did say that "computer games are rubbish."
