Rob Zombie movie that people had expected Mark to like on the grounds of it being really nasty and unpleasant. He didn't, on the grounds that "anyone who thinks that [Charles] Manson was an interesting character - as opposed to just a cheap, scuzzy, verminous git who deserves to rot behind bars for the rest of his life - is an idiot. And I'm sorry, that's it."

Oddly, The Devil's Rejects was only the second-worst film of 2005 to feature Lynyrd Skynyrd's Freebird in its closing moments - the worst being Elizabethtown.
