Railtown Bottlers

Band that Mark played in while at Manchester University - where they were often booked by Steve Coogan, who was also a student there at the time. Toby Jones once compered "an evening of skiffle and joy" in which the Bottlers were the main event. They were the house band on Danny Baker's 1990s TV chat show, Danny Baker After All.

The group's washboard player would later go on to be the music clearance for the programme Elvis Has Just Left The Building, leading to The Noddy Holder Men and Motors Anecdote.
