Yoof based BBC radio station aimed at the youngsters where Simon and Mark first started their working relationship, which ran from 1993 to 1998. Mark's first Radio 1 Film Of The Year was Jurassic Park (which, owing to the Steven Spielberg rule, was better than Schindler's List, in his view).

Matthew Bannister first brought the pair together when Simon took over Radio 1's morning programme - Simon had suggested they review some films and Bannister suggested the bloke who did movies with Mark and Lard. Mark says that there was a pilot show, but Simon insists that this is not the case.

The station has an unwritten policy which is not unlike the film Logan's Run in which anyone over 30 working for the station should be swung around on a wire and shot at with lasers, hence Simon and Mark's move to 5Live.
