Lord Jeremy of Irons

British actor, who won a Best Actor Oscar for Reversal Of Fortune. Also known for the TV version of Brideshead Redecorated, The French Woman's Left Leg, The Lion King and BvS: DOJ Acquired his noble title from Mark Kermode after his somewhat ripe turn in Eragon.

Irons was known as "Alan Rickman is not available" for a substantial part of his career. He played a cousin of Rickman's Die Hard character Hans Gruber in Die Hard With A Vengeance, and even played Rickman's Severus Snape role in a Comic Relief Harry Potter parody, Harry Potter and the Secret Chamberpot of Azerbaijan (which is nothing like as good as Wittertainment's own Benjamin Sniddlegrass and the Cauldron of Penguins).

Lord Jeremy is the father of the magnificently-named Max Irons.
