Benjamin Sniddlegrass and the Cauldron of Penguins
A film inspired by a Wittertainment review. Also known as BSATCOP.
Reviewing Chris Columbus's film "Percy Jackson And The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" on February 12, 2010, Kermode stated that the plot was so similar to the Harry Potter films that it might have well been called "Benjamin Sniddlegrass and the Cauldron of Penguins", at which Simon said that sounded like a film he'd like to see.
A colonial commoner named Jeremy Dillon, a listener in Australia, created a mock poster for the film which other listeners sent to the show. This led to the release of producing Benjamin Sniddlegrass and the Cauldron of Penguins, which was filmed in 2010 and released in 2011. Stephen Fry agreed to provide the narration during a trip to Australia.
