John Grisham

Writer of numerous legal novels that became huge movies in the 1990s - The Firm, The Client, The Rainmaker and A Time To Fall Asleep amongst them. Mark hated them all.

Mark once accused Simon of being best friends with Grisham. When Simon countered that he had never met Grisham, Mark replied, "you interviewed him on Radio 1 and said, 'I love your books, you're really brilliant, can I come and live with you'."
