Dr K, on top of the doctorate he actually worked for at Manchester, has been awarded an honorary (or BOGOF) doctorate by Winchester University. This entitles him to now call himself Doctor Doctor Kermode. Queue many jokes (for example "Doctor, Doctor. People keep ignoring me", "Next") and much bursting into song ("Can't you see I'm burning, burning?").
