BOGOF

Sometimes a University will deem it appropriate to award and honorary doctorate to a "celebrity". Not for their years of study, hard work and the quality of their dissertation, but because they have a face for radio. This has become known as a BOGOF, or buy one get one free, because Dr K "bought" his first one with blood, sweat and tears, and Dr M was given his for "free".
