Friend and fellow critic of Mark Kermode, and a member of the pharisaic cadre that also includes the likes of Kim Newman. Not the 1980 Formula 1 World Champion.

Mark has described Jones as, of all his colleagues, "the most tolerant of completely unacceptable behaviour on screen”. But even Jones described Crank 2 as “needlessly offensive”.

The quote on the Straightheads poster taken from Jones' review - "shocking, disturbing, extraordinary" - was likely not entirely what he meant.
