[Mark Kermode](Mark_Kermode)'s term for people who, in pre-internet days, used to visit the cinema ([Cornerhouse](Cornerhouse) in Manchester, for example) to watch pornographic films. Traditionally, the raincoat was not removed during the screening.

During the playing of the [misprint game](Misprint_game), John in Barcelona (who invented the game) suggested that anorak-wearing types would be sorely disappointed if they went to see Fluffer, only to see Robin Williams prancing around as a mad scientist.
