Mark Kermode's term for people who, in pre-internet days, used to visit the cinema (Cornerhouse in Manchester, for example) to watch pornographic films. Traditionally, the raincoat was not removed during the screening.
During the playing of the misprint game, John in Barcelona (who invented the game) suggested that anorak-wearing types would be sorely disappointed if they went to see Fluffer, only to see Robin Williams prancing around as a mad scientist.
