CGI animated movie that attempts to mine comedy from the emoji characters of mobile phone texting fame. [Mark Kermode](Mark_Kermode) was on the [Wittertainment Cruise](Wittertainment_Cruise) at its time of release and, much like with [Keith Lemon](Keith_Lemon), was bombarded with requests that he see it so listeners could enjoy the resulting [Kermodian rant](Kermodian_rant). And, much like Keith Lemon, he did indeed hate it - so much so, it ended up nearly topping the list of [worst films of 2017](https://web.archive.org/web/20220818035125/http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/markkermode/entries/e687f9a9-b42e-4b96-81ff-dba202e67b44), only being beaten to the top slot by the truly repulsive [Wolves At The Door](Wolves_At_The_Door).
