Vassos Alexander

Sports reader on BBC Radio 5 Live who was harangued by Sir Alan Parker during the news and sports break midway through a 2005 edition of the Film Review Show over his coverage of Arsenal dealing with the loss of Patrick Vieria. Given that Arsenal are still to win the league in Vieria's absence, Alexander may not have been that far out after all.

On another occasion in 2007, Mark Kermode was late getting into the studio for the start of his bit of the Daily Mayo; Alexander filled in by adlibbing around Scotland's hopes for qualifying for Euro 2008.
