The Back Up Plan
"The movie reviews itself. For example - there is a preponderance of cheese in the movie. He runs a cheese store. He is a cheesecake. In the big romantic encounter of the movie, he invites her to his farm of cheese and they meet in a big cheese shed, and in the big cheese shed they have sex, amidst the cheese. It's almost like the filmmakers are going, 'it's a bit cheesy, isn't it'" - Mark Kermode, BBC Radio 5live
Mark pointed out that all the jokes had been done by Nine Months, so that if you watched Nine Months, you got all the gags, but you also got to watch Hugh Grant. The cheese-soaked Back Up Plan was, therefore, "not so much an homage to Nine Months, as a fromage."
Graham Norton laughed all the way through.
