After a screening of Doubt in Melbourne, an old woman in the audience was heard to exclaim "that brought back a few memories." The listener who overheard this wondered what the most effective film to hear it after would be. Suggestions included:

Mark Kermode's own suggestion was The Evil Dead, "because who hasn't sawn their own arm off with a chainsaw."

One listener named David Walkerdine coined the word "Wittertainee" in an email about how he had been to see Vicky Cristina Barcelona and saying "that brought back a few memories," causing his wife great concern about what he had secretly been doing.

The film that of course brought back the least memories was The Least Memorable Title Ever, which Mark only remembered he had already seen when it was halfway through.
