Table banging

Table banging most commonly occurs mid-Kermodian rant and causes the thumping/booming sounds that can be heard during the show.

This banging sound has been known to make listeners believe there are burglars in the house or someone driving into them on the motorway. Another listener complained about the banging sound occurring mid way through a hip operation.

In the 20 November 2015 show, Mark announced he had adopted finger clicking as an alternative to table banging in an attempt to appease listeners.
