Stephen Graham

English actor who appeared as Leeds United's tough-tackling Scottish midfielder Billy Bremner in The Damned United. During a discussion about the film with Michael Sheen, Simon Mayo suggested that Graham was too fat to be convincing in the role. Awkwardly, not long afterwards Graham himself was booked as a guest, but he had remembered it as being Mark who had cast the an aspersion and mentioned this to Mark off-air as he was leaving. Mark then dragged Graham back into the studio so that he could make it very clear to both Graham and the nation at large that at no point had he made any such comment and besides would not actually know what Billy Bremner even looked like.
