Silent Running

Mark Kermode's second-favourite film after The Exorcist which has been known to turn even the manliest of butch rugby players in to Solid Gone wrecks.

A technically spectacular and emotionally manipulative film which will expand the minds of even the most jaded cynic.

When Mark reviewed Wall E, he spent the entire time actually talking about Silent Running, and then again every week it was in the Box Office Top 10.

In fact it even gave Mark and Simon the chance to introduce a special screening of the film, although this was meant to be a big announcement and Mark accidentally leaked it by mentioning it during the countdown while Simon was down the line in Beijing and couldn't see him to stop him.
