Shut Up Butt What

An utterance of a small child upon hearing the "GERARD BUTLER!" impression - and which has subsequently become the nickname for the Scottish actor himself on the show

There was some disagreement after the comment appeared on the picture graphic published on Kermode and Mayo's film review Facebook page similar to the one of Mark and Simon as shown on the banner picture of @witterpedia.net. just below Brechtian alienation device, It showed the phrase to be "shut up butt what". On social media many listeners said it should be "shut up buttwad". Then a member of the production team intervened and quoted the email in which this phrase first appeared and stated it is in fact "shut up butt what" much to everyone's surprise.

On 14th March 2014 they stated..... It is definitely 'butt what' - we consulted the original email.
