After a process of either applying the producer's cut (the director's cut would end up being longer than the original) or playing the show back at double speed, the Friday show is being repeated on a Saturday evening in the period of a single hour.

The exact title of the Saturday night cut-down show is yet to be finalised, but possible titles include:

• Kermode and Mayo Film Review Saturday Night Cut-Down
• Kermode and Mayo - The Director's Cut
• Saturday Night Movie Fever
• Cut

A firm favourite though is Wittertinyment.
