Lookalike

While Charles Hawtrey and Orc are the most often used points of comparison when assessing the physical appearance of, respectively, Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode, there are others who are sometimes posited. Mark Viduka, Jesse Birdsall, Mark Pellegrino (in Capote), Michael Portillo, President Hathaway (voiced by Stephen Colbert) in Monsters Versus Aliens, and Mark Lamarr have all, at various times, been cited by listeners as doppelgangers for the Good Doctor - indeed, the latter to the extent that they used to get each others' post. Not only that, but as Julian Fellowes was leaving the studio after coming in to promote From Time to Time, he commented, "I always liked your hair on The Word."
