Linda Blair

American actor and star of Mark Kermode's All Time Number One Best Film Evs, The Exorcist. Mark once interviewed her but was so star struck by her appearing at his table in the cafe, that when she asked "Are you Mark?" he mumbled incoherently, prompting Blair to walk off in search of the man she'd agreed to meet to talk to. He recounts having to chase after her and apologise for being so unprofessional. The interview later appeared in The Dark Side issue 14 in November 1991 and earlier, abridged, in 20/20 magazine from April 1990.
