Kermode & Mayo's Film Thing

An experimental filmed Wittertainment universe programme recorded on May 1, 2015 and uploaded to the kermodeandmayo YouTube channel on May 8, 2015.

It was a re-editing of the full Kermode and Mayo's Film Reviews radio programme down to a 23-minute video, interspersed with post-commentary from Simon and Mark filmed from a point of view overlooking the foyer of the BBC's Broadcasting House.

At the start of the first Film Thing, Simon described it as "not radio and not television", and Mark described it as "a radio programme, with pictures."

The BBC Radio 5 Live website described the show as "a visual companion piece to their 5 live radio show."
