Hard rotation

Films (and to a lesser extent music albums) that have sustained repeat viewing / listening in the Kermode household through the years are frequently described as being on "hard rotation." They may not necessarily be entertainment items that Mark himself rates - "I have a DVD of Jungle 2 Jungle in my house and boy I wish I didn't" - but have nevertheless been embraced by the Good Lady Professor Her Indoors and their family. These films have, over time, included Monsters Inc, George, George, George Of The Jungle, Look Out For That Tree and the aforementioned Jungle 2 Jungle. Albums have included the soundtrack to The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, and, of course, Jesus Of Cool by Nick Lowe.

The Parent Trap was an equivalent film in the Mayo household; East Is East for Channel 4.
