Film Lover’s Prayer

Because the Church of Wittertainment lacked a Communal Prayer, Mark Niel, Poet Laureate of Milton Keynes[1], wrote The Film Lover’s Prayer which was adopted in the show of 05 July 2019. Not to be confused with the Wittertainment Prayer.

The Film Lover’s Prayer:

Our Godfather, which art in Heaven’s Gate,

Halloween be thy name;

Thy King Kong come;

Thy Wimbledon,

As The Man Who Fell to Earth,

As it is in Hairspray.

Give us this day our daily Reds;

And forgive us our Angela’s Ashes,

As Unforgiven those who Hall Pass against us.

Lead us not into crazy ritations.

But Deliverance from Dogville.

For thine is the King Dumb and Dumber.

The Two Towers and the Toy Story.
