Chaos, disharmony, and murder

Werner Herzog's assessment of the state of nature in the film Grizzly Man. Must be said in a Bavarian accent.

This is actually a slight misquote - Herzog actually referred to "chaos, hostility and murder", but this is how Mark remembered it, and hence gets an entry here.

Mark once asked Herzog during an on-stage Q&A how, if chaos, disharmony and murder did indeed define our existence, it was possible that things as beautiful as Herzog's films could exist. Herzog paused and replied, "I hold back the tide."
