Armando Iannucci

Satirical megastar and creator of The Thick Of It. Iannucci apologised to Mark Kermode at the Baftas about the Flappy Hands gag in the episode set at 5 Live in which both the Good Doctors are (separately) referenced - Ollie Reeder saying "god Kermode, your hands are massive" being the best his writers had been able to come up with after half an hour of looking at the footage.

Iannucci was also the co-creator of the mid-90s satirical news programme The Day Today, which had a section called Genutainment. It was very shortly after a listener pointed this out that another listener created the word "Wittertainment" on Wikipedia.
