In a 2025 episode, a listener wrote in to explain some technical details about so called 3D cinema, and explained how most places that attempt to show 3D should instead be referred to as 2.5D Monkey Vision, as for it to work your eyes would need to be as close as a small monkey’s.

Needless to say, Mark got a giggle out of this and has continued to use it in subsequent episodes.
