# Warm-up waffle

In July 2016 the Times posted a list of top podcasts for the summer that included, of course, the [Wittertainment](Wittertainment) podcast. In its description of the show it said "Their weekly shows often begin with a warm-up waffle", by which we believe them to mean and intro containing pearls of sparkling wit and wisdom. Also, as Dr K pointed out, "[Wittertainment](Wittertainment) is for life not just for the summer".

A [Wittertainee](Wittertainee) on Twitter postulated that the show may also then finish with a "cool-down crumpet".
