# The Stathe

Mark has a bit of a soft spot for Chesterfield-born ex-Commonwealth Games diver-cum-actor Jason Statham. Any actor who can carry off taking part in a full-on fight scene whilst rolling around topless in a puddle of motor oil and simultaneously straddling the line between action and homoeroticism is fine with Dr Kermode. He was, as Simon recently put it, "poised, oiled and ready to go" in Transporter 2.

To quote The Stathe himself in Transporter 3, "I am not the gay."

The Stathe has not appeared on the show in weeks when Dr K was in the studio, this leads us to believe that either he just doesn't like Mark or that there is some form of restraining order in place.
