# Stars



Many film reviews - especially in print - will grade films out of five stars. Mark doesn't use stars for his film reviews, although he does occasionally refer to a film of 90 minutes or less as having "a four star running time."

When he was writing for Q Magazine, he did award stars - famously deducting one from his five-star review of [Leaving Las Vegas](Leaving_Las_Vegas) because it featured [Julian Sands](Julian_Sands).
