Simon once interviewed Steven Seagal on another show and often refers to him as the [worst interviewee of all time](Worst_interviewee_of_all_time). This is notable only due to the fact that Simon rarely says anything bad about anyone and is generally considered to be the "nice one" in the show.

Seagal's career is based around a string of films in the 1990s in which he saves the day by killing everyone, much as [Liam Neeson](Liam_Neeson) [does now](Taken). Often this is at the cost of thousands, if not millions, of lives. When a train plummets to the bottom of a canyon in [Mikhail Baybatov](Mikhail_Baybatov)'s [Unwanted](Unwanted), [Mark Kermode](Mark_Kermode) said that "even Seagal doesn't kill that many" - only for Simon to point out that he was [wrong](Things_Mark_was_wrong_about) \- Seagal once fired a rocket into China.
