Possibly the most famous of the [Things Mark was wrong about](Things_Mark_was_wrong_about). Mark used to hate Neil Young - "Southern Man - we all know what that's about" - until he saw the film Neil Young: Heart Of Gold and found, three songs in, that he had tears running down his face.
Mark also enjoyed the point in the film CSNY in which the band (of which Young is the "Y") sing "let's impeach the president for lying" in Georgia and the audience nearly riot - "and not in a good way."
