# Colitas

From the line "And the smell of colitas, rising up through the ai-ai-air...." in Hotel California. It means "little tails" in Spanish, and is officially a reference to the flower of the antelope sage plant, which is a type of wild buckwheat, though many have said that is possibly the heady smell issuing from the small butt, or tail, of a "herbal" cigarette (not a clear as a mountain stream, menthol one though).
