A [Wittertainment](Wittertainment) Related Injury. This is an injury caused by, or obtained due to, being distracted by the show/podcast.
So many of these have occurred that some contributors feel that injuring oneself is the secret to getting an email read out on the show. Many emails now contain the excuse "I cannot claim to have had a WRI..."
A [Wittertainee](Wittertainee) broke her ribs, and dented her ego, falling over in the bath whilst listening to the podcast. The length of the remaining podcast was used as an aid to determine the time at which the accident had taken place.
Please bear in mind some wise words from Dr K, "Never put anything in your ear smaller than your elbow!". The BBC are not responsible for any injuries caused by attempting to insert one's elbow into one's ear canal.
