Phillips was the Hollywood reporter for British TV show GMTV in the 1990s, and admitted on the show that during the 1993 [Oscars](Oscar) (the very same ones for which Mark made his legendary failed [bet](Danny_Baker)), she was live on air with Richard Harris about [Unforgiven](Unforgiven) \- only for him to respond to her very first question with, "you haven't seen it, have you" and walk off.
After she told [Mark Kermode](Mark_Kermode) that she would get a real dog just to avoid seeing [Marley And Me](Marley_And_Me), Mark said, "and now we can be best friends."
Phillips voices a character in Shark Tale, but when talking about it, she could not remember the name of her character.
